HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BOWRON SHEEPSKIN RUG

Your carefully selected Bowron Sheepskin may have been tightly packaged for the journey home and so the wool may appear flattened. Wool fibres are very resilient and will bounce back to their original springy appearance.

A vigorous shake will help restore the soft, fluffy appearance of the wool. Any fold marks from packaging will disappear once the skin has been removed from the package for several days.
Storage

Should you wish to store your Sheepskin at any time, place it in a cool airy place avoiding direct sunlight. Packaging in plastic bags for an extended period of time is not recommended as the Sheepskin fibres will not breathe and condensation may occur in warm conditions.

Washing
Machine or hand wash your sheepskin in warm water(38°C/100°F) using a mild liquid detergent. Spin to remove excess water. Colours should be professionally drycleaned only.

Drying
Dry your Sheepskin flat or on a line and stretch to shape while damp. Keep away from direct sunlight and artificial heat. Do not tumble dry your Sheepskin. Take care not to place the Sheepskin on a radiator, steam pipe or in front of a fan heater as this may damage the Sheepskin. Do not iron or bleach the Sheepskin.

Brushing
After washing, the wool may revert back to its natural curly state. You can help restore the fluffy appearance by brushing the wool while it is wet and again when it is dry. A wire brush or comb is suitable.

Unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise may be returned within 10 days after delivery for a merchandise exchange or refund. All refunds are charged a 15% handling fee. Item(s) must be returned in condition received or merchandise will be returned to sender. Sale merchandise is final sale. No refunds or exchanges will be given on sale items. We recommend that all returns and exchanges be sent via a traceable carrier such as USPS, or FedEx. Sheepskin and Things LTD is not responsible for packages not received if sent via a non-traceable carrier. Returns and exchanges must be returned prepaid; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. We do not pay for customs or brokerage fees. Return status Returns mailed to Sheepskin and Things may take one to two weeks to process after you mail it. The long await is over for The Raven I Short mukluk. A new addition to our growing line of Canadian made mukluks. Tecumseh mukluks has come out with the short mukluks. While we will post the Banff and Raven  shortly you can check back over the next few days to see it here. We have been told to expect several additions to the Tecumseh line soon. Some rumours include a mens line and several variations of the original version in mini and micro!

The Rimrock Short Mukluk is a new look for our brand this year. These beautiful Canadian Mukluks are shorter than our tall line and are handmade with hand selected rabbit fur pelts and soft suede leathers. 

The height of the boot ranges from 11" to 13" depending on size. 

The decorative glass beads are hand sewn. 

They are fully lined with 100% sheepskin & wool , keeping your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. 

The plantation gum rubber sole is made to absorb shock and add comfort with each step. 

These are made to be worn either indoors and or outdoors.

They can be worn all year round.

Sizing Tips: Order your true size. If you wear a half size go down 1/2 size.
